The overall experience was a pleasure despite the fact I felt horrible. What a turn around since the Underwood Memorial days.
I had finally fallen asleep. the nurses were kind enough to let me sleep for an hour or so before waking to send me home with a stronger antibiotic & steroid.
Is it standard practice to forget to order your patients procedure you need done for diagnosis. Dispite the nurse calling 3 times to see what is the hold up. Then after finally getting things moving. It takes 3 hours to finally walk up and hand medication to the patient and discharge them. How is this ok. It’s 2017. I can watch my package get delivered on a truck from California to New Jersey in one day. And it takes the hospital 3 hours after diagnosis confirmed to administer antibiotics. If that is standard policy I think it needs to be changed.
Once Dr. came in within 15/20 min. nurses changed shifts. I was given a flu test & went for chest xray. I was given Albuteral Treatment while waiting on results.
the ER rooms were clean, beds were gel matresses & comfortable. Nurses & Staff were very soft spoken.
If your Hispanic you don't want to visit this place they will treat you like not even human
Kudos to Jim Bonner.
Done with this hospital, we arrived to the ER at 630pm with my Father in law and was told they are going to admit him. It's now 4am and still waiting for a room. Went to ask why it's been over 8 hours waiting for a room and was told it could take up to 24 hours to get a room at this hospital. Crazy and will never come here again.
I went to Complete Care on a Tues. received a prescription for Pro Air Inhaler, 5day Zpack Antibiotic for Bronchitus. On 7th day, Christmas eve/morn. my symtoms were worce. I went to Inspira Emergency. I was in & taken back to a room right away. I was the only one in waiting room. I was tended to very thoroughly. Each receptionist, nurse & lab tech ask to see my ID bracelet to verify patient. Something Underwood Mem. never did.
I am very understanding and I never complain or give bad reviews, but I felt like a dog would've received better treatment than me. One star because the woman at the front desk was nice. I never do this but I want to recommend everyone to never ever go to the Inspira Medical Center Woodbury even if you’re dying! You might not be seen until 8 hours later. Yesterday I got to Inspira at 7:20PM just to get a CAT scan for my concussion and lets just say, I did not leave until 1:35AM. Obviously malpractice and negligence. They didn’t even put me in my own private section, they had me sitting out on a stretcher in the hallway asking me personal information for the world to hear. They brought people in after me and sat them in a curtained section but had me exposed with a container of dripping urine in my hand. To top that not one nurse approached me till 10:20PM to say “We need a urine sample before we can do anything with you.” I see why the ratings are so low. I hate throwing dirt at a place but I was humiliated. I will never step foot in there again. I pray I do not receive any form of billing. I hope something changes so no one else has to give a negative review.
